After what looked like a good day Shamy and Paul have moved up to 7th Place I'll be away from my pc over the weekend so follow the results and live tracking here: http://www.rallyedespharaons.it/
I'm not getting any news from the bivouac, but looks like Paul's warrior was the only one to get through unscathed today with the new car suffering som'broken body parts' and the Warrior of Karim having a problem 'without physical consequences'
So Paul is lying 11th at present with more fun to come tomorrow, I imagine there will be some late nights amongst the mechanics this evening.
Our freinds at Rally Raid International are currently involved in the Pharaons Rally in Egypt and are lying 6th after the first stage, JL schlesser is currently leading.
Start: Stockholm 12 feb 2011 08:00 AM - Finish: Stockholm 20 feb 2011 11:00 AM Distance: ca 5000 km
"Experience the thrill, challenge and the adventure in the Arctic! The rally takes you through a landscape that can be both beautiful and threatening, where the weather can change very quickly and the northern lights can be seen under the stars. Simply an adventure rally and a challenge for everyone who likes cars and adventures!"
